Welcome to the Christmas in July Blog Hop!

This stunning card features the Night In Bethlehem stamp set and Bethlehem edgelits dies.  I used shimmer paper as the card base, silver foil card stock to create the buildings die cuts and champagne foil to create the character die cuts.

First, I cut the shimmer paper length-wise at 5 1/2" wide.  I then scored it at 4 1/4" and 8 1/2" from the top.  Finally I trimmed the "short" section down to 1 1/2".  Fold the card at the score marks so the top folds down and the small section on the bottom folds up.  This was done to help create the layered look.

Next, I stamped the large North star with versamark and embossed with silver embossing powder.  Then I stamped the stars stamp with versamark and sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter.

Using snail adhesive, I attached the larger edgelits background to the top section.  I used dimensionals to adhere the smaller edgelit to the bottom section to help it stand out from the background.  Lastly, I used dimensionals again to adhere the figures as the top layer.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment on the front and inside with Merry Merlot ink to give it a little "pop" of color.

This is a must have stamp set as you can create some of the most elegant Christmas cards.
