Christmas in July Blog Hop!

**Star of Wonder Shaker Card**

Using embossing and watercolor techniques, this card will be loved by any recipient!  Tempting Turquoise is used for the card stock and primary ink pad color.  I used Tempting Turquoise and a little bit of Bermuda Bay and Soft Sky on the water colored white shimmer card stock using the aqua painters. After allowing the water colored paper to completely dry, I stamped the large star from the Star of Light stamp set with Versamark and used silver embossing powder to give it that extra special touch.  I finished off the shaker card using adhesive strips, white glitter, a window sheet and topped with either Whisper White or White Shimmer cardstock.  I attached the "shaker" to the card front with multipurpose glue (it's easier to attach the watercolored paper to the card base first, then build the shaker on that).  I stamped the expressions in Tempting Turquoise from the same stamp set and the inside star with Crushed Curry.  Lastly, I added a bit of pizzazz to the front by using the "snowflake" washi tape.

Summer Lovin' Blog Hop!

Thanks for hoppin on over to my blog!  I'm so excited to share this card! I LOVE the 4th of July (and bling)! This patriotic card is made using the incredible new embossing paste and embossing mask with stars.  It is super easy to use and you can make any color you want using the ink refills.  I layered Pacific Point card stock, red glimmer paper and white card stock on top of the embossing paste.  I stamped the white card stock with Let's Celebrate from the Birthday Delivery stamp set by masking the "Your Day!" part of the stamp with a sticky note.  I used the Brushwork Alphabet stamp set to spell out "Celebrate America". I stamped a start border using the stars from the Tabs for Everything stamp set for a perfect way to celebrate the red, white & blue!

Have a happy & safe 4th of July everyone!

Father's Day Blog Hop

Front
 Inside

This classic was made with the Country Livin' and Guy Greetings stamp sets.  I started with a Basic Gray card stock card base (8 1/2"x 5" folded in half) and layered the Wood Textures DSP (4"x 4 3/4") and Tip Top Taupe cardstock (3 3/4" x 4 1/2") on top.  The inside insert is made from Tip Top Taupe cardstock (3 3/4" x 4 1/2"). I then used the aqua painters to give the water color effects.  I used Stampin Write markers in Cherry Cobbler, Soft Sky and Daffodil Delight.  I used Stampin ink pads in Garden Green, Soft Suede, Smoky Slate and Basic Black.

The truck image was stamped with Basic Black. I used paper snips to fussy cut it out of whisper white cardstock and attached it with Stampin dimensionals to give it a little "pop". The greetings on front and inside are in Early Espresso.  I attached the card stock and Wood Textures DSP with snail adhesive. Lastly, I frayed the Copper Trim ribbon and attached with glue dots.

My Mother's Day card is elegant and very simply made, using card stock in Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White, with added touches of vellum embossed with the Floral Affection Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and Succulent Garden designer series paper.  I used the coordinating Rich Razzleberry ink for most of the stamping and Wisteria Wonder for the accent stamps on the inside.

Stamp sets used are the Oh So Succulent photopolymer stamps for the front accents and inside caption, the So In Love clear block stamps for the front captions and Sending Love photopolymer stamps for the inside accents.  Lastly, I completed the card with a string of pearl embellishments and Whisper White ribbon. (Note: I used the Snail adhesive and glue dots, but you can use any of your favorite adhesives.)

Easter Blog Hop

Easter Blog Hop Card

Welcome to my very first blog hop! I made this cute Easter card by stamping the bunny in Blushing Bride ink and basket in Crushed Curring using the Basket Bunch photopolymer stamp set. I then used the Basket Builder framelits dies to cut out the bunny and basket from Whisper White card stock and the eggs from the sale-a-bration glimmer paper.  The layering squares framelit die was used to create the small white square.  I used multipurpose glue to attach the white square to the larger square cut from the Playful Palette designer series paper, which I attached to the card base with snail adhesive.

I stamped the grass using a Basket Bunch stamp and garden green ink.  I used the multipurpose glue to attach the basket handle to the white square, glue dots to attach the eggs, and then dimensionals to attach the bunny and basket bottom. I stamped the expression using Tempting Turquoise ink pad.  Finally, I used Stampin Markers (in Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Tempting Turquoise) to color the egg stamps and then stamped directly on the card base.
